Technical Development Department

The Gold Standard

A Ph.D. in Insurance

At Graham Company, we are focused on bringing in the best and brightest talent from any industry, and then teaching them the ins and outs of insurance. That’s where our Technical Development Department (TDD) comes in. TDD is made up of a team of specialized insurance professionals who are responsible for educating and training new hires through a best in class program we call Graham University.

Graham University is our rigorous six-month training curriculum followed by several years of on-the-job professional development, which equips incoming employees with everything they need to know about developing customized insurance and risk management programs for our clients. Through this program, we often say we’re giving new hires a “Ph.D. in insurance.”

Ahead of the Curve

In addition to training new employees, TDD serves as a resource for the entire company by providing continuing education opportunities and staying ahead of changes in the insurance industry. This ensures we’re offering our clients the most innovative and highest quality insurance products. We do this by analyzing updates to insurance policies and keeping a constant pulse on regulatory changes and legal rulings that create new coverage precedents. We also conduct quality assurance reviews of our clients’ insurance policies to ensure there is contract certainty regarding the coverage provided and host training seminars for them about emerging risk management issues and health care solutions.

We believe that TDD’s dedication to continuing education and the team’s proactive efforts ensure we are providing the latest insights and competitive programs that position our clients for success.
