Assistant Vice President, Underwriting & Compliance
Adam Karalius joined The Graham Company in 2013 serving as the underwriting and compliance expert for the Employee Benefits division. He is responsible for the financial considerations of all employee benefit products including the development of benefit plan designs, alternative funding alternatives, and employee contribution structures that strategically meet client objectives. He also assists all employee benefit clients with compliance
issues regarding ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA and ACA.
Prior to joining The Graham Company, Karalius spent 13 years as a Consultant with Charon Planning in Warrington, Pa. In that capacity, he was responsible for developing and implementing long-term employee benefits strategies for existing accounts. Prior to his career at Charon Planning, Karalius was an Underwriting Consultant with Aetna and Prudential Health Care serving both national and local key accounts.
Karalius has a B.A. in Mathematics from Goucher College in Baltimore, MD. He has earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) and Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) designations from The International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of Business. He holds a Life, Accident & Health license in Pennsylvania.
