Since 1990, Jeff Spatz has been professionally and personally committed to protecting life and property and has a demonstrated passion for the health and safety of workers and the success of his clients.
Spatz joined The Graham Company, one of the country’s largest insurance and employee benefits firms, in 2003. In his role at The Graham Company, Spatz provides consulting services and training to clients in the construction, manufacturing, mining, and oil and gas industries. He has broad experience with successful wrap-up construction projects involving large institutional and transportation clients.
Spatz holds six certifications from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals including the Certified Safety Professional (CSP), the Certified Environmental Safety and Health Trainer (CET), and the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST). He serves as an authorized Outreach Training instructor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) 10- and 30-hour programs for both General Industry and Construction. Spatz serves as an Accredited Practical Examiner for the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO) for its Crane Signal Person and Rigger Level 1 programs and maintains certifications from the NCCCO for Crane Signal Person and Rigger Level I. Specific to the oil and gas industry, he is an authorized instructor for the PEC SafeLand Basic Orientation program. An accomplished and experienced speaker, Spatz serves as an adjunct instructor for the Construction Management program at Drexel University and as a valued trainer for clients and industry associations.
Spatz is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and a charter member and past vice president of the Mid-Atlantic Construction Safety Council (MACSC).
Since 1995, Spatz has been active in his local community serving on both the Oley Township Municipal Authority and the Oley Township Planning Commission. In 2001, he was first elected to the Oley Township Board of Supervisors, and continues to serve as Vice Chairman.
